hello there! About 20 minutes ago i realised i had my tutor homework to do, & why am i still wasting my time blogging? cos i seriously, cannot be stuffed to get off my chair and go downstairs to retrieve the stupid exercise book. Nothing much happened today, but yesterday was quite interesting for a Sunday! Did i tell you i went to the temple with my parents but just stayed inside the hotel for the whole time? Yeah well my parents were talking to one of the nuns i think and they were like, whhaaa your son is so leng zai blah blah got a "good forehead" must be smart! Don't worry, he'll grow and he'll become more leng zai blah blah. Then they just glanced at me and smiled, and -no comment- OKAY TYPICAL REACTION TO ME. They're probably thinking, wtf is this girl doing in this family, she so does not belong.
Anyway, i had dinner at the city afterwards with my parents' family friend who had this super annoying daughter who kept crawling under the table to perve or something. She has this like, backpack full of colouring paper and crayons and kept shoving it in her mouth wtf... As usual i had to "entertain" them by attempting to talk to them in shanghainese cos thats all they know how to say. OMG MASSIVE FAIL. Then the grandma was started talking to me .. this is how the convo went:
grandpa: how's uni? me: uh... im in year 9 at the moment grandpa: O_o *mumbles to self* why are you so tall? me: haha thank you. grandpa: that wasn't a compliment, i was asking you. me: O_______O uh... i don't know... um... i think my grandpa's tall? grandpa: ok. why is your brother so short? me: um.. -shifty- i don't know. I think he'll have his growth spurt soon. grandpa: HE BETTER. OR NO GIRLS WILL LIKE HIM AND NO ONE WILL CONTINUE YOUR FAMILY TREE RAWR !! FEED HIM MORE !!! *massive rage* me: WHOAA OKOK CALM DOWN !!! grandpa: how was your weekend? me: -super confused expression-
he had this massive shang accent while he was talking in mandarin and it was kind of hard to understand. Anyway my parents were so pissed afterwards cos the whole time my ears were blocked with my ipod earphones and i was texting most of the time ><"
After that dinner we all walked down to Town Hall to watch the chinese festival thingo which Kang was coincidentally -cough- at. Basically he stalked me, then i avoided him, then ditched him xD im so nice!! BUT IT WASN'T MY FAULT ! My mum wanted to leave.. with a bit of convincing from me.
anywhoo, i might go now.. still haven't done tutor homework. At least i don't have as much homework as normal from school nowadays. SO GOOOD!
