Hey! I'm waiting for My Sister's Keeper to load atm while listening to my parents talk really loudly (typical asians ==) about the Australia soccer match. Hahahahaha facebook is updating me about the recent stuff happening as the game is progressing. Quite helpful actually lololol. Omg THANKS A LOT anita ao, for mentioning My Sister's Keeper in your blog. Now that i'm watching it i've become totally sad ==
Sunday tomorrow~ the only day where i'm completely free. You can never escape homework though. Eurgh i have so much due, but thank god i got an extension for the maths assignment i got like, a term to do but i haven't got past the first page... (there are like, 10) Then i have a science topic test which i am going to stuff up because i don't listen in class and then there's an english story i have to complete. Great.
Sorry for complaining again. They're more like reminders to myself. Ok i just finished watching My Sister's keeper. SO FREAKING SAD. There isn't any part of that movie which isn't sad >< I feel like another rant.
So you know what confuses me and pisses me off sometimes? People who act completely different on the internet to create this 'better' version of themselves. Note: this is only obvious to people who know that person in real life. If you met this person through the internet then you will not realise.
Basically there might be this girl who's average-looking, average-smart, quite boring to talk to, and super quiet. Let's just say she wouldn't be the type of girl 10 hot guys would hit on, this person is made up btw so don't try and guess or something O_O. Suddenly, i click on her Facebook page and TADA she has 600 friends, a very photoshopped profile picture, and her activities and interests are listed with a heap of fake things. Eg, "music" she says she plays the piano, drums, guitar, xylophone, cello and saxaphone, when in fact she only plays the piano. The most common and noticeable thing is the profile picture. Wow that is shocking sometimes. It's a picture of herself posing with a flawless complexion that looks so perfect that it almost looks fake. Because it is. Sure sure i know this person in real life so i can see through her fakeness, but what about the other people who add her/gets added by her? They have no idea what's she's like. They think that she's what she presents herself as, this incredibly interesting and pretty person who does all these cool things and everyone loves her.
Hmm what about the people who talk to 10000 guys via all posts, but you know that in real life they would never be able to say the things they say to each other. I laugh when i read wall-to-wall posts of those people. I also laugh when i see ridiculous abbreviations and the extension of keyboard faces. Like i never knew " x)" or "xP" or ":X" or ":9" existed. ARE THEY REALLY NECESSARY? WHAT DO THEY EVEN MEAN?
I think this is enough for today. Sorry if some stuff don't make sense. I think i changed tenses halfway through again. Hope you're all having a great weekend! BYEEEEE~
