Just came back from a yummy dinner 2 hours ago :) So you've probably heard me mention more than once about the dinner i was having with Rena tonight? Hehehhe it didn't disappoint, we had great food, great views and a nice talk on a wall separating us from the oysters stuck to the rocks underneath our feet. Hmm so although i wasn't disappointed tonight, in the morning i was pretty damn disappointed. Ok so my mum told me that she couldn't go shopping with me today a couple of days ago... so yeah i was pretty disappointed, but i expected it. Yeah i'm completely used to it by now. I was planning to go by myself [the usual]. But this morning she told me that she could spare a few hours and we could go out at 12. I WAS SO EXCITED. I actually can't remember the last time i went shopping with my mum. I got ready and thought of all the stuff I needed to buy, and even wrote a list and suggestions for lunch. It's 12:10pm and I ask her when we're going out. Here's the conversation:
me: When are we going out? -yawn- mum: Oh I can't go out anymore. Your dad called and I have to stay to fix something up. me: ....what? BUT YOU SAID YOU COULD GO WITH ME mum: just go by yourself or bring one of your friends me: WELL MY FRIENDS ARE PROBABLY TOO BUSY SHOPPING WITH THIER MUMS TOO. SOMETHING THAT I DON'T GET TO EXPERIENCE. mum: chill, i'll go next week. me: THAT'S WHAT YOU SAY EVERY WEEK. mum: it's not my fault! go blame your dad me: aaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh -_______________- mum: want some money? me: N.O. I'M GOING OUT BY MYSELF NOW.
yeah really bad decision. Should've taken the money.... and let all my anger out by buying heaps and pissing her off and then telling her off for not being there to control my money usage. Nah i'll regret it later and then slap myself. I know, i know, i'm super mean to my mum but if this happens EVERY TIME, you do get pretty pissed off. What's worse is that I should stop giving false hope to myself and just deal with it, but everytime I think something different might happen, it never does. Anyway so I went to the city and bought some really comfy, loose shorts that I could wear as an alternative to the usual denim shorts that aren't as comfortable. After that my day became quite lucky.
I walked out of Central Station and thought to myself, hmmm I could really use a Chatime right now, i'm super thirsty! I suddenly remember that my Dad's also in the city working cos the worker was sick today or something. Hmmmm maybe I should get him a drink but i'm pretty povo cos i didn't accept mum's money T.T I look up and there's this asian girl holding a sign that said: "CHATIME NEW STORE OPENING. BUY ONE GET ONE FREE!!" hahahah can you believe my luck?! I ordered a drink and got another one free, but since i only had 1 hand available... i couldn't drink from one of them cos it'll melt and everything would be messy == I decide to drink it when i'm at Dad's store. IT WAS FURTHER THAN I THOUGHT. I HAD TO HIKE LIKE.... 20MINS IN EXTREME HUMIDITY AND I COULDN'T POKE THE DRAW INSIDE THE DRINK AND HYDRATE MYSELF. I finally got there and gave my Dad the drink which I could tell he was grateful for, but he didn't show it. Wow i really am a lot like him hahaha.... Anyway I decided to stay and help. FOR THREE HOURS STRAIGHT. I got home all sweaty and gross and I only had 20mins to get ready for dinner. -sigh-
OH OH OH and Rena gave me my birthday present ^^ WOOOH THANK YOU :D She gave me a beautiful something else [click here to go to the website] t-shirt/dress and zomg... these epic black boots [a different style to the ones i already have]. They're super comfy and nice :) thanks again rena!
aiya i'm gonna work again tomorrow... it gives me a sense of accomplishment and productivity. I guess I don't get paid for it but it's better than staying at home and doing nothing right? I also find it super fun communicating with customers and seeing happy tourists/families walking around and pointing at this with fascination. Bleh working with my dad means that I don't have to feel awkward when i'm eating stuff constantly and fanning myself with a sheet of paper all the time. When i was working with that girl... i didn't even want to drink anything. TOO AWKWARD.
Anyway i'm gonna go now, this is a reasonably long post to keep you occupied aye? I see people are stealing my quizzes ;) I RIKE THAT. I'll try find some more ok? HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND!
