Today was an eventful day and I had heaps of fun despite ditching Rena’s outing which was too far away for me to get to T.T Here is a brief summary of what happened:
·Went to tennis camp which was really bad at first cos I got sent to the pro court [as I feared] and I felt really intimidated and not good enough
·After beating this really pro guy [who I scared the sh*t out of last year, not intentionally ofc], I gained more confidence and actually hit the balls pretty well
·Felt like 4hours had passed but turned out only 1.5 had passed and I thought to myself, fml. It was freakingBOILINGas it always is at tennis camp and I was lucky I didn’t get sunburntJ[OMGOSH AWESOME SMILEY FACE]. I love sunscreen!
·Showered, had lunch and went out to the city
·Met up with friends at a karaoke place, which I didn’t know existed. Actually, I never even knew about the whole karaoke thing in the city… it never occurred to me that people would go karaoke in the first place, I know I’m so weird.
·Met some new people and talked for a while [hehehe actually trying to avoid the chance of singing]
·WHITNEY WAS THERE!!! WOOH LESS AWKWARDNESS AND TIME TO SING!It was really fun! We sang “DJ got us falling in love again” really really really loudly into the mike… but we were completely in tune so it was fineJMy throat hurt for ages and I think I lost my voice but it was all worth it cos it was super fun HAHA. Sang more Chinese songs that I knew and wtfed at random K-pop that they memorised the lyrics to…. Thank god some guy shared the same thoughts as me. Why are you chinese, but you are completely obsessed with Korean music? Don’t see the connection there.
·ate lunch at a food court which I also didn’t know existed. Wow am I nooby or just…. Noooby? O_O It was there where a guy propsed to me with noodles…. HAHAHHA LONG STORY
·walked to a pool place [pool as in, playing pool not swimming in a pool]. Apparently it’s part of the Asian outing ritual…. Hmm I learnt lots of stuff today. Mum called and I had to go home so I left with all the girls instead of playing pool for the first time! Oh well :D
·ate dinner at a Japanese buffet. REALLY YUMMY! I stuffed myself heaps and my dad kept ordering more food cos he was asian and didn’t want to “waste the money”. The waiters were pretty pissed off at us I think, cos we kept ordering tempura like… literally 10 times every 5 minutes.
So yeah that was my dayJIt was really fun and I made new friends which I always love doing! I have officially been to an asian outing…. Pretty cool must I say. I just need to “pool” to complete my degree of asian-ness. Today was extremely hot… arghh… I hope tomorrow will be better. There’s another outing tomorrow but I don’t think I’m going to bother going. What should I doooooooooooo? Meh, I’ll decide tomorrow.
OMG I found another way to get money – fast! But it’s kinda cheating…. Nono dw I’m not selling drugs or anything [or am i?]. I was sorting through some of my junk and I noticed my Chinese money box lying in a corner. Everytime I go to china I take money from there and use it in China, and I always come back with more money thanks to my grandmother collecting CNY [chinese new year] money for me while I’m in AUS :D I looked inside and counted all the $100 bills. MY EYES WERE LIKE O_____________O Then I looked at all the $10 bills. My eyes were like O__________________________________O.I’M FREAKING RICH! …. With chinese money T_TAt first I thought, argh no use except in China. Then I thought of the ingenious idea of exchanging it for AUS dollars with my mum hehehe
I ended up getting $100 AUS and I still have heaps left over in my money bank HEHE. Now I’m not broke…. For nowLI don’t wanna spend all my Chinese money though cos if I use it in China, it’ll be gone in a flash anyway hahahah I GO ON A MASSIVE SHOPPING SPREE IN CHINA COS I FEEL SO RICH. In AUS I’m just like…. Gotta save up all my money…… can’t buy anything. In china’ it’s like, $200? NO PROBREEEEMMMM! [thinks to self, hehe only $20AUS, soooo getting it].
i'm currently stalking one of the guys who went to the outing today. He's amazing at photography. Freakingamazing.I CANNOT STRESS HOW AMAZING HIS PICTURES ARE. IM GONNA UPLOAD SOME ON THE NEXT POST COS MY INTERNET'S TOO SLOW. He says he will teach me photography.Movie line much? JKS I'M NOT GONNA FAILL FOR SOMETHING LIKE THAT.Im off now, goodnight!
