Today was the Chinese workshop thing with Ascham, Riverview and Trinity. I was looking foward to it as soon as we got told about it, but I never expected it to be so fun! I laughed so much today and made some new friends as well! Today was kind of valuable in a sense that I learnt a lot about other people who were learning Chinese in other schools... even the non asian people were REALLY GOOD AT CHINESE!! I was fascinated by their wide range of vocabulary and their ability to write so many characters and speak so well... Of course this opportunity allowed us to make new friends and I became good friends with this Riverview ranga who I realised, had pretty much the same sense of humour as me. We spent like an hour laughing hysterically over the story we had to create using photos which turned out to be ridiculous! Everyone was also surprisingly nice!!!
I'm taking advantage of my brother's absence to the MAXIMUM, meaning I'm not going to be at home during the day for most of this week. My beautiful plan is that I go out a lot this week, and then stay at home most of the time next week so my brother won't complain and make my life miserable in the holidays. It will allow me to actually get some work done too. I'm dreading the English speech so much. I hate speeches, i don't know why I did debating. Maybe cos debating is actually fun.. you get so caught up and passionate about your speech and sometimes you really believe what you are saying is right, and hearing other people argue and say you're wrong makes you angry and want to fight back. Making speeches is just like.. meh... i have to do this.....arghhhh..... =___= EWEWW SPEECHES.
