Hey all :) As you probably know, I went to China (incl. HK, some people don't regard HK as part of china, BUT IT IS!) As well as visiting Guangzhou like I stayed most of the time, I also went to GuiLin for the first time! Guilin is famous in China for it's beautiful scenery and a place where a lot of people go for retirement. I was very surprised at the amount of Western tourists there were.... my hotel was FILLED with people from Europe! Enjoy lah~
I fell in love with this guy <3

Haha yes, my photography sucks and I got my new lens at the end of the trip so I didn't get the opportunity to use it :( My favourite part of the trip would have to be laying back on the wooden chair attached to the wooden raft and floating along the amazing river in the light breeze in Guilin! The weather was really warm but there was an umbrella on top of us, so it was soo relaxing :) The mountains reflected onto the water perfectly and I had a really strong urge to paint the scenery... something I don't usually feel like doing o_O I took lots of pictures of the scenery so I could possibly paint them when i'm bothered. The light show was BRILLIANT but unfortunately it was too dark for me to take any decent pics :( Every single show was PACKED WITH PEOPLE and there was at least 2000 people at each show with tickets being $250 each! How much money does this dude make man! The show was really amazing though, really worth seeing!
HK was great and the hotel I stayed at this time was at the perfect location!! It was directly attached to the first floor of a giant shopping mall which had everything you could imagine. Downstairs was the bubbly MongKok which is just... argh SHOPPING HEAVEN. Most importantly, the top floor was a MASSIVE FOOD COURT!! Dude, Australia's food court is nothing compared to the ones in HK! This one was like the Sydney Westfield one, but waaaaaay more affordable and had a better atmosphere and the food variety was endless. My mum dumped me at the hotel for one day and I didn't complain cos I just wandered around by myself and bought HEAPS OF STUFF and ate LOTS OF FOOOD. After that, I went to the rooftop swimming pool which had an amazing view of the cityline and I spent like 2hrs in the sauna which I practically owned cos no one came in.. I even wanted to watch Johnny English in the cinema (in cantonese HAHA) but my mum came back :( Wahh I just wanted to stay there foreverrr.
I'm pretty sure I ate every hour of the day. NO JOKE. The thing with me is, I rather eat big meals than snack constantly cos I feel.... eurgh... like empty. I don't like to eat sweet stuff randomly too like chocolate or lollies. But in HK, I snacked CONSTANTLY, but like.. PROPER SNACKING (on like meat etc) It was like mini meals throughout the day and I even snuck up to the food court at 11pm cos i wanted food...
Anyways my stupid Mac is running out of battery. It only lasts for 2hrs now!! ARRGHHH... baibai!
